However, through her grief, she discovered a talent for baking she didn't know she had. With encouragement from her husband and friends, who were her unofficial taste testers, she started Trinity Cakery, a name that holds special meaning for her. It honors the foundation of her faith, the Trinity River that runs through her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas, and her son Adam, who was her third and last child, as his close friends called him "3".
